Lights look pretty nice, be interesting to see that review from Blackout.
If you keep the sale on, I would probably buy some in 2-3 months. $700 for the Surfriders and install kit...seems reasonable for 2 really good lights. msrp would be a bit harder to swallow since that would be $900. I have just spent too much on other boat related things this summer...underwater lights are on my list for this fall since I am not out at night a lot and its not real high on priority list at moment. Maybe you will run an xmas sale?

Couple things I did not see on website....
    1. What kind of warranty is on these? Does same warranty cover light and install converter kit...
    2. It says you have integrated kits for existing touchscreen. My boat has underwater light option in touch screen and is the only light option I did not get, assume I can wire it into my touch screen somehow...or when I order do I need to let you know what kind of boat I have and its customized, and more money?

Elevated....mounted over the trim tabs like that, does it still stay underwater at surf speeds? Seems like the tab may interfere....guessing these don't require being submerged for cooling when on (just saw on website to not run more than 30 seconds out of water)? BTW, I love those top-side lights you mounted, I already have blue LED just over my swim platform tho, wired to my courtesy lights. They look really nice on boat

Yes the lights can operate off the screen and no it isn't more money. The system is completely integrated and simple as far as wiring is concerned.

As for where mine are mounted. In the picture that is the full stowed position of the tabs so the short answer is no. As for getting hot? We don't think so. We mounted them based on us running the boat and figuring out where we wanted the concentrated beam angle at surf speed. We settled on where they are so that each side has full illumination with the wave and just a smidge of bleed into the middle to look uniform. It really is fantastic, again I was a skeptic until I saw them stacked against some other big names. Its astounding.

You need to get out and see them. Call Adam at American Fork or myself and we can get you out to see a side by side.

          Hi Tige Family,

I wanted to answer your questions quickly... It's hard to say "if" or "when" our next sale will be. 30% off is very aggressive pricing and not something we intend to offer very often. We did run a black Friday sale last year and now this one, but that was more to conclude our first year of sales than anything. It's possible we offer some smaller sales in the future, but I'm not sure we will be doing anything of this magnitude again anytime soon.

1- We offer a 1 year no questions asked warranty on all products. If you have one of our authorized dealer's perform the install then we extend your warranty to two years. But even outside of warranty, we'll always work with our customer's to take care of you and make sure you are getting maximum enjoyment out of our products.

2- All versions of our install kit, including the factory integrated version, are the same price and requires no customization. Your touch screen system will work with our factory integrated kit. Some boats require an unlock code to turn on features that you did not buy from the factory, but a simple phone call to your dealer can get you that code. But no, it won't cost you any extra to integrate with your existing system.

Lastly, on the issue of mounting location, i.e. evelvated's install... We recommend to not run them for more than 30 seconds out of the water in a "dry" environment. Although, the lights are thermal protected and will shut off if they get too warm. So, it's really not a problem. That's just good practice since they are a high performance light designed to be used in the water. I should probably have that cleared up on our website. No matter where they are mounted on your transom, they will spend time out of the water while your boat is underway. That's normal. There is enough air movement and water splashing behind any boat to keep them cool and running properly while underway.

And thank you for the feedback on our Top-Side Lights. We're pretty excited about them! I'll have more photos and videos of them to share in a few weeks.

We got so slammed at the event we didn't go out. We tried Friday evening and got stopped by the 5-0 immediately. So much enforcement this year it was crazy.

Give me a few more days- I'll have something up by the weekend.

Thanks for the replies, I will be in the market for sure later this year.

Robo...For the anal retentive like myself...you may want to mention the warranty info on your website (unless it is there and I did not find it). Think it would give some people some peace of mind to know that. Do you have any "authorized dealers" on the East Coast?
You should get *Chpthril* on board as authorized dealer, he is in my area on East Coast and highly respected on MANY of the boat forums. I plan to take my boat to him to get my underwater lights installed this fall. Before seeing the actual details on these....was on board for the Seablaze X lights cause they are proven and it was hard to determine how much of the info on these lights was "hype". No disrespect saying that, just stuff you gotta watch out for on newer items. Looks like you may be the 1 in 100 that is the real deal.

Chptril, what brands do you currently carry? I noticed Lifeform LED's in your signature. Have you worked with any other brands? What do you install the most of?

Maybe I could work a deal out with you to do something similar to what BlackoutATX is doing for me with another brand? I always appreciate 3rd party feedback as a consumer and am willing to facilitate that happening through respected community voices to help grow our brand recognition. Would also be great to get a dealer on the East Coast if you are seriously interested. We've made it as far as MN in our first year, but will continue pushing out East.

TigeFamily, thanks for the feedback. We will be sure to make our warranty info more prominent on the site. I understand your apprehension with us as a "newer" product in the market place. There's always that aging period for new businesses to get respected as legitimate, especially where we're doing something quite different than other light designs.

Hopefully BlackoutATX's review helped to put you a little more at ease that our lights are well built and that they really do perform the way we claim. To add to that comfort level, I'll tell you a bit more about us as a company. I operate another business in aerospace manufacturing. We build parts for commercial and military airplanes, the navy, etc. Very technical, tight tolerance and demanding products. It's that other business that helped with the design, testing and manufacturing of our products. So, Liquid Lumens products are literally designed and built by aerospace engineer's and an extremely talented group of machinists and fabricators in Salt Lake City, Utah. So, although Liquid Lumens itself may be a young company, our experience and expertise in design, development and manufacturing, is far from it.

When you get closer to buying your lights, keep in touch and we'll work something out for you.
