BurnMac42 - AWESOME shot of the baby on the swim deck. Best of the bunch IMO (so far). Then again, I am a new grandpa, so I might be impartial.

My life's journey is not ending up looking pretty, its sliding in broadside, used up, worn out, screaming "What a Ride"

Ya. Most of them are. There are a couple from LBJ Lake but mostly the San jac.

I do get jealous of clear water or the cliffs from everyone else's pictures but the San Jacknto river is rideable yr round and smooth all day long, so it is what it is. Plus the beach is great for the kids.

^^^the Red River and crawfish are all I miss about Louisiana. The water was a bit red and had alligators and snakes, but totally worth it for endless all day butter and warm water.

Not going to lie - there is no part of any water filled with alligators and snakes that interests me. That is the only good thing about dealing with the northern winters - it kills off stuff. Our spiders cannot grow as big, very few snakes, NO Gators...just a few muskies. I have watched enough episodes of River Monsters to keep me out of waterways that you describe.
