FAE question / issue

Those look pretty interesting. I checked out the website, but didn't find any info about using those with the TAPS. Any problems using TAPS and the FAE?

No problems with Taps.

I have had mine on most of the summer and will not be without one again. Minor issue with what seemed like back pressure when starting but Larry sent a shorter down pipe and it fixed the problem. I cannot tell it is on the boat except that it is a lot quieter when driving. Great product and would highly recommend putting one on.

Update

I angled the downpipe a little farther back and it fixed the spray issue. Sounds and works great now

I had a small issue with the TAPS not working correctly, but after talking to Larry, he sent me a shorter down pipe and the problem went away.

You will not believe how much quieter your boat will be. It makes an IO sound loud.
It will also make the tower speaker’s sound a lot better to the rider with out blowing the rest of the people out of the boat.

I have a slight angle on my pipes likes the photo for billspin; I noticed that nickypoo has his coming straight out (look at the taps plate)

How is that working for you like that?
It looks as if the crossover pipe would be in the water if the taps were set to 7.

I actually had the chance to ride / surf behind mine saturday. I thought something was wrong with my boat because of the strange sounds I was hearing.

It finally dawned on me that is was just the boat plowing thru the water and the surf wake curling behind me. Sounded like a big waterfall... I don't think I'd ever have another boat without one of these.

It's quiet and I noticed no difference in the wake.
