    Wake Enhancer

    Hi All & Happy Boating,
We have a '99 2100i direct drive and was wondering if anyone has tried any of the wake enhancers such as Mission Delta, Swell Wakesurf or Ronix on a boat similar to this. Everyone seems to have v-drives that has tried these enhancers but no direct drives. Any input would greatly be appreciated.

My home made gate made a friends Malibu DD go from not surfable to barely surfable.

Thanks. Before spending that amount of money, I'd like to get everyone's experience first.

If you have enough ballast, on older boats especially...its gonna help whether its direct drive or inboard. No ballast = No wave no matter what you put on there

I had a 97 DD and made a homemade gate and it surfed really well with about 1300 pounds in rear. I am making an adjustable reverse orientation suck gate and I will be selling them for around $160. It works just as good as the others for a lot cheaper. PM me if you want one.

I made a suck gate for our boat. Works great I think without listing the boat over. Worked better than my NSS style plate did. While its still not a huge wake compared to the newer v-drives, I can ride rope-less even with my son one the board with me.

I'm never without my homemade sucgate. I think I'm $40 into it. I've got a new one to test.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Nauticurl + 4500lbs of ballast make a mean wake. I gotta tone it down about 12" with trim plate cause it gets so huge. Much better than I have ever been able to achieve listing the boat...this was tonight

Thanks everyone for your input. Since Mission Delta gives you a 30 trial period, maybe I'll give it a go since it can't really hurt.

Looks cleaner without me breaking it up with my board, lol

That's an awesome wake but doubt if I'll get anywhere close to that with my 2100i.

Here is a pic of my wave on my 97 2150 and I believe if could be better too. This is also with the shapers I sell.

This is the shaper but the new ones I am making have hinges for better adjustability. $160

What was your weight setup in the 2150?
