I need a new boat because my family will not see much of me for the next 4 months. Our Boating time is our family time. Football takes up over 40 hours a week (just football) not to mention my teaching job. I only have time to post when the kids are alseep or my students are watching a video or doing some quite work.

We had a great weekend. Spent Friday thru Monday morning at California Speedway watching the NASCAR races. Then Monday afternoon went to the local lake and did some wakeboarding and surfing. Hope everyone had a great weekend and a safe one.

South Hills gave us all we could handle last year in our first game, we were lucky to beat them. Our OB's Jablonsky Mom and brothers were all SH alum as well.

Nice! I love that place. It's an awesome fascility. The race into night is great once the sun goes down. Did you try one of the NEXTEL Fan Views?

We don't generally go to the lake on labor day, but we ended up going out on Monday. To our delight there weren't too many people on the water. Ripped the glass on the fire stick in the morning and surfed the rest of the day away. With Burning Man and the Rib Cookoff going on, I guess a lot of people had other plans. Pigged out on ribs and caught the English Beat on Sat. night as they were the free concert dejur at the Rib Cookoff.

It was a great race. It was pretty warm until the sun went down. I didnt try the NEXTEL fan view. Im still using the old school scanner. Im thinking about trying it when I go to the race in Phoenix.

I was at that first race into night race and it was brutaly hot. An old man dropped right in front of me from heat stroke and they had to cart the poor guy off before the race even started.

Definately hook up the fan view. I tried it at the spring Phoenix race this year and it was worth every penny. Everyone I know who has tried one says the same thing,"It's the shiznit!" I will absolutely get one at the next race I go to. Well, next NASCAR race at least. They haven't quite made it to Air Racing yet. Only four days to go before it's eight straight days of the Fastest Motorsport in the World for me.

Unfortunately no. Looks like the Air Races will be my last race, of any kind, of the year. Gonna try and make a chase race next year though.
