Right on. I had never noticed, but it appeared on the Alpha version you couldn't run board racks ya?? Or at least in the promo pics I've seen the racks have been removed. Is the E2/M2 version going to work with racks on??

Old system works with racks on. But yeah the new system will be fine and should be good to go on every MFG. Just taking a long long time to get material right. He is trying to make it way less bulky and lighter. The one I have now is massive but light and seems to be holding up....

Below is the old system with racks on. they are swung in to get it inside but they swung out without any issue.

Has only made a way for it to slide onto the fork of the clamping racks? Put a microfibre cloth over the rock, clamp it down and to give extra security have a bungee go into the pole and around the tower. My only concern would be having too much bounce for the camera.

Side note I want a permanent camera spot I like the transom but I always fear having it nocked off by a rope. So I was thinking tower and wiring it into Tige touch. Any solutions?

Does the curl view have some sort of emergency release if you drive in to something?

I am in the process of designing my own, and that emergency aspect is the one thing I'm not entirely sure how to handle. My plan is to attached it to the standard Alpha Z board racks. Hopefully I'll have something put together this weekend (if I don't weld myself to something).

Anyways, not to take away from your awesome product here. Sadly I'm in Canada and have to pay the aluminum tariff to get it here :P

I’m looking forward to your results Johnnie. What are you planning on using for the beam? I worry that it’s just shake around and give bad footage.

I think at the end of the day, and sooner than later, drones will replace the need for this. That is the direction I went, but takes a lot of work and practice to get the shots, its not long before you will just toss it out and film with almost no effort.

Totally agree... I have a stack of drones in the office that I can't use for personal purposes..... [emoji20]

I like the camera to monitor the riders. When I get 10 people on my boat, I can never see the riders, particularly when they are ready to start. Having the live camera view is really awesome for keeping an eye on the back of the boat. I know the newer boats have cameras back there, but I'm stuck with my 2013 for the time being. I'll build the thing this weekend and try it out next week. I've always liked your videos where you get out and away from the boat a bit.
