Just to add. My boat is being serviced so I had a loaner RZX 3 and RZX2 to try. Below is the feedback I gave the dealer.

    FYI:
My boat(2016 RZX): 100% full. (Including plug n play) Sometimes I drop rear non surf to 85%. 350 lbs lead rear surf side and 150 lead in the front. I also throw an extra bag rear surf side ~250lbs in it and a bag in the front ~250lbs. Surf taps 2. Taps 2-4. Speed 11.4

RZX3. I had 100% full plus 500lb bags in both rear lockers. 350 lead rear surf side. Same taps settings and speed.
    (Did not have plugnplay)

RZX2: 100% full plus 500lb bags both rear lockers. 200lbs lead rear surf. 150 lbs lead in the front. Surf taps at 2. Taps at 2-4. Speed 11.6

My boat fully loaded produced the best wake. Great shape, long, tall & a great lip

The RZX3 was pretty similar but was a little softer and had a soft bottom. We pearled our boards more than normal. The boat just needs the extra weight.

    RZX2: wet boat-get splashed a lot more.
Surf: very similar wake to mine. Not as long. Originally started with all the lead in the rear and moved 150 to the front and that made a big difference in the length.

Overall for surfing the RZX(3) out surfs the RZX2. The way I surfed them the RZX2 out surfed the the RZX3 but that's just because it needed more weight. Did not and probably will not ski or wake board as the kids really don't have an interest anymore in those sports.

    Hope this is helpful.

Rzx2 needs 350-400 a corner to really beast out.... its an absolute monster with that plus plug and plays. Still havent gotten around to a write up. Where the rzx3 like rag said quits getting better, the 2 keeps freight training...... Just my .02. Both are fantastic boats...

keep in mind the rzx2 has gone to only 2700 under floor vs early models that were 3k.. That was all rear weight. Going to have to adjust for that 2 owners.....

I would but I won't be able to buy one of those hogs for a few more years! I am sure it's something. Prices gotta come back somewhere near earth...

The 237 has been wildly built up to me too so WTH we are gonna go see. Nothing to lose!

The 247 has a killer wave. Surfed it last year in a competition and it was excellent and still needed to be dialed in. Elevated, is the RZX that much better than the Z?

247 Malibu or did you mean to type 237 as in Centurion?

What prop are you running on the 16 RZX?

It's the high altitude prop option from tige. I'm not sure what it specifically is off hand.

What i have figured out so far...
I have a 2017 RZX2 with the Raptor 575 (we are at 3500 feet elevations for those that care)
Boat Dry weight 5400 plus gear =6000
                              Subfloor Ballast = 3000
                              20 - 50lb lead bags (300 front, 700 rear) = 1000
                              10 average people in the boat (3 front = 450, 7 rear = 1100) = 1550

So total weight is between 11,500 and 12,000.

With a stock prop this is about as much weight as the boat can handle. The wave was solid but the exhaust was crazy... fresh air exhaust is getting installed soon.

we were riding at 4/4 and it was good.
Since then i have seen a lot of post suggesting riding at taps 2 or 3 with low taps3 settings as well.
Cant wait to try it again

                                Leadwake.com 50lb bags
you can fit 4 in the front storage compartment.
I also took the compartment out and put 2 under it.
so a total of 300lbs up front
