Did your GPS work with the old screen? Maybe they forgot to switch the nav card from the old screen to the new one. (assuming you had a nav card in the old one)
Nope. It didn't work with old one either. Weird. My nav card worked on other boats in showroom but not this .
That seems like some of TT screens are just bad from the manufacturer. I'd like to know the percentage of Tige customers experiencing the same issues with Tige Touch. It seems very common on the forum. I guess most folks come to the forums looking for help. Like I said earlier, I'm on my second touch and still having some issues just not as bad as before. Although I've only been out 3 times since the touch was replaced last fall.
Yesterday I was on the lake and only ran for 20 mins before the screen started having glitches. My house battery was charging at 14 volts as well as the cranking batt. I turned the isolator knob to combine setting and nothing changed. I then turned off ignition and pushed the power button. After turning everything off I could hear my taps plate moving back and forth from setting to setting. ( which it was also doing while the screen was going crazy. Auto taps would come on and constantly switch from 1 to 2 ) I then killed everything at the battery knob and set for 5 mins rebooted and started engine with no problems the rest of the time out. It happens at least once a trip.
Great. This tells me it keeps happening with screen off. Same thing. Resetting with battery fixes it. But I am going to try to find way to disable ballasts or wire in an override switch. This is disappointing
What order are you starting everything up? I was wondering the other day if the order matters. I have no idea if it even matters.
I turn on the battery, then the touch, and then the motor. In my head I feel like it allows the Tige Touch to boot and get set prior to the motor firing.
That's the order I start up too. I always power up and let the blower run before turning the key. I noticed over the weekend that everything worked better when I left the battery switch on from day to day. Seems like T touch needs a little power supply all the time to work properly.
I don't know this system but I know a lot of electronics can be sensitive to voltage spikes when starting an engine. May be worth trying to start the engine first then the touch system. It would seem to me that Tige' would know this and design the system so that it either has start protection and it doesn't matter or that the touch system wouldn't initiate until after engine start. Hope you guys get it sorted, that is frustrating.

My 15z3 did this same thing the other day with the taps plat moving up and down. Once I shut it down and let it set for awhile then it worked fine with no problems since.
After a weekend of fighting my rogue touchscreen I'm taking it in to dealer. They said likely a software issue. Figured I'd let you all know how that turns out. I have my doubts. Had tanks randomly filling and draining all weekend. Worst was the cruise control system kicking in and off making the throttle useless. So dumb. If I ever upgrade I'd consider searching for a brand or model that didn't have all systems run through one computer. Really sets you up for total failure when that computer has issues. Even the music constantly jumped through songs. Frustrating

My dealer ended up giving me a brand new screen under warranty. Went from unusable to awesome. I think this is a known issue.
