I had mine on the lift for a couple weeks and it was working fine using it every other day or so. Then after a few long days on the water the next day it did not work again. Well we are not doing the new system yet. We figured out the boat had the older firmware and in demo the actuators work so hoping to get on water tomorrow. Confidence is low but hopes are high!

Hopes crushed. The boat worked for a test run then the water got rough so we anchored and hung out for a bit then went out to surf and taps 3 no worky no matter how many resets. Guess I could have put it into demo out on the water and see if I could get it going again but don't think that's the way these boats are suppose to operate

Wow. These systems certainly don't seem to be cooperating. 2017 rzx taps not functioning even after getting fixed by the dealer. Worst part is the boat was supposed to be pulling a comp and showing the centurion guys what Tige's can do.Comment

Just like any new system I guess we will have to work out the bugs staying positive but with short summers in Washington would like to surf as much as possible

So after the issues this weekend Tige overnight shipped new pdm rams and added stoppers and Bjornsons our local dealer installed today and they test tomorrow morning pretty stoked only surfed the boat 2 times with no troubles. Hope everyone else that is having Taps3 issues gets fixed up.

Got the boat back today and everything worked [emoji119]. Here's the kicker and maybe it is some of the other people's problems. Even after the new rams pdm and the stoppers added you have to turn batteries on then the motor and then the touch screen. Tige is working on the fix so you won't have to do it in that order but for it gets me surfing. Lucky to have a dealer that has a sense of urgency to get customers back in the water.

Thats an issue with your specific boat, never had had that issue or even heard of that issue. Bad actuators are a simple swap and go. Easy to diagnose, easy to fix.Originally posted by outkastmunkey View PostGermaine Marine

Ok Thanks. My family and friends put 100 hours on RZX last summer and had no problems with taps 3 but there was static in the tower speakers. The tower speakers eventually quit working at
end of last summer but I forgot to get the dealership to look into the problem when getting boat ready for winter. I took it out a couple of weeks ago and none of the trim tabs worked so I took it
into the dealership and am now waiting to see what they find. I hope you are right and its an easy fix. Thanks again and I will post the findings.Comment
