    Wanted 2009 Tige 24ve

So I have started looking for a new Tige and I like the 2009 24ve but can't find any of them. So if anyone knows of any or has one that they want to sell please let me know. I have found some 22ve and 08 24ve that I like but would love a 09 24ve. I am also willing to travel to most places. Thanks in advance.

Hello, local! We lived in Spokane when we bought our 2009 24Ve, but now live full time on Twin Lakes near Rathdrum ID, just over the state line from you.

The 24Ve is a great boat, and 2009 is definitely the sweet spot in terms of years it was in production.

Good luck in your search. When you find one, I can give you some tips and pointers for optimizing its ballast and other aspects. You'll be amazed at what it can do!

Thanks ID I have seen your threads and they are awesome. Although I f I don't find a 09 24ve I have found an 08 that I like and an 09 22ve so I need to decide if I we want the extra 2 feet which I like the 24 better so would love an 09 if I can find one but the 08 I like too. And I will be doing ballast mods kinda like what you did. Thanks a lot

We were offered a 22Ve and a 24Ve by the dealer. They had one of each from 2009 in stock. We talked that night about it, decided on the 22Ve, called the dealer the next day to commit, and they had sold the 22Ve in the meantime! So while we didn't intend to have a 24 footer, we ended up with one.

And couldn't be happier. The extra room is really nice... we've had a dozen adults with a bunch of small kids on the boat and while things were cozy, it wasn't crazy. We also like the additional hull surface for creating a huge surf wave - takes a serious ballast system to sink that much surface area, but what a payoff once you do!

That's what I was thinking too. I would love the extra room and the bigger wake but also want it in the 09. Those are real hard to find though so I might end up in the 08 which is good with be as well.

Here you go - listed in September, either they are priced way to high and won't negotiate or people don't realize how rare of a find it is.

Here is a 2009 RZ4 - supposed to be the same below the water but with the wider bow

I've definitely been pleased with how well our 2009 24Ve has been holding its resale value! Coming up on eight model years later and it's hardly lost anything from what we paid for it brand new.

Thanks dandy. I have seen the yellow one but don't like the colors. And the rz4 is out of my price range

Not sure if I can find one for what I want to spend but if I can find one I am willing to try and negotiate the price down

If you don't like the colors (yellow) you don't like it. It's all personal taste. At the same time at least it's not the whole boat. Once you peel the hideous decal off the side they look really nice. The decal was the first thing I removed when I brought the boat home.

I just don't understand why the RZ series demands so much more of a premium over a VE? That's a lot of money for a bigger bow.lol.

This is a good point. At the end of the day, it is the boat that is giving you the performance to do what you want and the additional space (vs. 22Ve). If you can stomach it for a while until you can afford to do so, you could wrap the boat and make it anything you want.

I do agree that it would look much better without the sticker on it.

If you think that RZ4 brought a premium, check out what they are trying to get for this one

I was doing a large area CL search to see if I could find anything for you and saw this. I can think of alot of BRAND NEW BOATS (granted not 24') that I could get for this price.

Yeah I am definitely going to take that decal of on whichever boat I get. Our family just doesn't like the yellow on our boats so the one we get we want to make sure we really like it.

I Was thinking about the solid Color wrap to Change the yellow but then the interior still has yellow so it would not match and honestly I just dont want to wrap my boat. If you guys know of any others please let me know. Thanks again

Hey guys, I was wondering if the 09 22ve would put out the same wave as the 2010 rz2. I was wondering this because I wasn't sure if I could get a wave as good as the 24ve. But wake9 seemed to have and awesome wave on their rz2 so I want to know if I weighted the same or similar if I would get the same or similar wave with the 22ve as the rz2

Pretty much same boat below waterline.
