Can't change songs, pause etc on new head unit.

I have a 2016 z3 and the dealer had to replace the head unit due to several computer glitches. Since then all seems fine except for the following.

When playing music off my phone through the bluetooth connection I can no longer change music (skip fwd or backwards) or paise the songs via the head unit. I used to be able to do this. It's annoying as I have to fish .y phone out to change music.

Curious if anyone has this issue. Thanks.

Just to clarify, there was a like model to like model swap made. Same brand, same model, right? Was the 2016 a Polk unit, correct?

I have the same problem with my '14 Clarion CMD6. Very annoying!
