New RZR build

We have decided on a new RZR. After looking at several different brands of boats we kept coming back to the Tige line. We went back and forth on a couple different Tige boats and feel the RZR will work best for us. We have been working with Matt from Modern Marine Center in Cincinnati, OH and also his Tige rep as we wanted to customize a couple of things on the boat. Thanks to both for working with us and answering all our questions. We boat in North/Central Ohio and have no Tige boats on our lake. Guess we'll be the first on the block. Should have it by mid June. Super excited and looking forward to becoming an active member on the forum.

We went with the metal flake red with graphite accents.

Tige did not have an option on deleting the cooler. They said they would do it but we wanted to make sure they would extend the flooring to the front of the bow where the cooler would normally be. They agreed to the change and there was no extra charge.

We went with the Raptor 440 engine as barefooting is important to me. It may not have been necessary for the upgrade but I know that I won't have any issues with the speed I need.

BurnMac42....Great to hear good things about Matt and his crew. We feel confident in him as our dealer.

We used to boat the NE Ohio lakes until we bought our lake cabin in Holmes County. It's on a private lake half way between Akron and Columbus in the middle of Amish country. We just boat there now. If you ever travel the area give me a shout and we can meet up at my lake.

As an aside...my niece just finished her freshman year at the University of Dayton. She loved it and had a great year there.

That is a nice looking boat. Congratulations. I'm just curious if I am picking up what you are putting down about your cooler. Tige is doing a true walkthrough all the way thru window and will have a small bow cushion?? Just curious as I believe this would mean a whole new top cap mold, which would mean they would be able to option it without cooler in future...
I haven't been in an RZR, just RZ2 AND RZ4s so maybe I'm missing something about how the cooler is on this model.

In previous years it was an option so maybe they still have the old molds and just aren't really offering it anymore.

Correct. The R20 was standard until a few years ago without the cooler and filler cushion. So I am sure they have the mold.

They aren't gonna make a new mold to produce a one off boat because they really appreciate Jackstraw's business.
