Summers almost over - How many hours?

I definately did not use the boat as much as planned. Kids are older. Work kept getting in the way and unusual weather. Put about 40 hours on it so far.

We definately boated smarter this year. watersports activity done on my boat and general cruising on my friends Party Cat.

I racked up about 50 whole hrs this year. I spent another 50 hrs bitching about not getting to go to the lake enough.

Since january, we have put roughtly 72 hours on the boat. Lots of boarding and cruising and just sitting in the middle of the lake making figures out of clouds floating by! It has been a great summer...

Zany...great point...summer's not over yet. We have two weekend trips planned to Havi yet and we'll most likely get a few days each month at Elsinore between late October and the end of the year. We are blessed to be in this general neck of the woods where our season is pretty much year round with a wet or dry suit...

                I said almost over!

We usually go through October 2 weekends a month. Daughter made the cheerleading squad so those weekends might turn into High School Football games. November we start the transition to winter activities of dirtbiking, quading and blowing things up!

Everybody thinks that California doesn't have four seasons.
Well they are wrong, we do have four seasons.

Just over 70 hrs. Hope to get a few more days on the water before it gets too cold. Our drought keeps holding on and now we can't get on the lake closest to our house. Now it is at least an hour to a lake.

Just over 100 hours and hoping for 6 more weeks before in gets put away. 105 last year so we'll go over that.

We will put about 50 hours or so by the end of October. Its amazing how its not over 100 though since the boat gets used almost every day from Memorial Day to Labor Day. But we live on the lake and most of the time just idle off the dock to float and swim during the day, and at night we run our wakeboarding and ski sets so even though its out all the time, it really only gets used maybe an hour a day at the most of running time and its always the same routine.........I board, my 6 yo boards, the wife slaloms, I board again, then usually we head in or the wife takes one more ski set. The tube also gets thrown into the mix as well.
