Cracked tige touch screen

I have a slight crack I just noticed. Is it worth trying to fix? Can you just replace the screen/plastic cover? Has anyone else had this happen?

It doesn't have any problems with the touch sensitivity.

This is just another reason why we feel using off-the-shelf tablets makes way more sense than custom touch screens. Screen problem? A quick trip to Walmart's electronics department and you're back on the water in a couple of hours for a couple hundred bucks.

Did you ever figure out how to replace the screen plastic cover or remove this cover? I am looking at boats and one i want has a little water that i think might be trapped in between the screen and this cover so if i could remove it and possibly get the water out that would be great.

As of right now...tige and the dealer are taking care of me! Awesome customer service. The crack had spread now. Still works perfect but waiting on the new one. Which I'll be doing the swap myself. Dealer is too far away and he said it's not too bad to do yourself .
