Did the one you drove have ballast? If so, where did they relocate the batteries?

The one I drove did not have ballast. There were 10 or more people in it and Danial Watkins and several others surfed.

The Ballast is in the rear behind the engine. I do not have a pic of the RZ2 ballast but it is like the VE attached pic. I understand there will be a box covering the batteries.

How many pounds is that ballast? Maybe it is hard to see, but that tank looks small.

I think the total front and rear is around 800lbs. The ConvexV hull is good for right at 1000 lbs (IMO). The boat is 3900 lbs. More can still be added but you stary loosing storage like all the other brands.

It almost looks like you could put the batteries on top of the hard tanks...is that an illusion from the pic?
