So I finally got around to installing my FAE from this group buy. I did order the flappers in mine, but only one side had the flapper in it. I went ahead and installed it and have sent FAE an email asking if that was correct. Anybody know if just one side should have the flapper in it? Seemed strange to me but I had the window of opportunity to get it done and with 4 kids that doesn't happen often. Boat is a 2006 24ve with dual exhaust outlets.

There should be one for each outlet.

I agree...if you have 2 exhaust outlets, there should be 2 flappers. Its said you dont need the flapper since due to design there is no way that water can "rush" up into your exhaust with the design...but if you paid extra for them, they should be there. Sure they will make it right tho. My experience has been great customer service from them.

I was afraid that it wasn't right. Ugh, hard to buy the time to get it worked on let alone have to do it all over again. Still waiting to hear back from them.

I bought one last year and just got a chance to try it last weekend. So quiet! Really happy with it can't wait for warmer weather to give it a try

I just ran mine for the first time and it's true that it's the best stereo upgrade you can buy! I'm so happy I put that on the boat and you can really smell the difference. One problem I had was when getting back in the boat from a surf session I couldn't tell if my wife had killed the motor or not and had to ask.

I'd be interested if there was another group buy.

I'm interested as well and gave them a call. Unfortunately they don't do group buys during the summer as demand is too high. We should revive this thread next January. If we get enough people we could save around $60-$70.

Or if you attend the West Coast Tige Owners Reunion at Lake Mead, AZ September 15-17, where FAE is a sponsor again this year.... .... you can guess from there.
