We had a 16x69' houseboat in a covered slip. My slip rent was $495 a month when we bought the boat and worked its way up to $565 a month by the time we sold the boat last Spring. While I miss the boat dearly, I sure as hell don't miss throwing that slip rent out the window! We determined we paid in excess of $25K in just slip rent over the ~5 years we owned the houseboat. Thankfully, we profited on the boat when we sold it by about that much, so we basically broke even on it. I have my runabout in my garage and vow to never pay a slip fee again.
While I don't already own a Tige, I'm aspiring to.
For you guys just needing an inch or two of clearance you can pull torsion arms on the trailer and rotate 1 tooth/spline. This is something I've been told driectly from Boatmate at factory training. Haven't had to do it for a customer yet, but was a good tip.
