tower speaker install problem

Has anyone run the wiring through the tower of an '06 21i???

I have been able to run the wire through the tower just fine but where the tower attaches to the gunwale, the interior is finished with a panel. I can't reach all the way behind it to grab the speaker wire and pull it out. How do you remove the interior panel? I pulled it out a little bit but got paranoid of breaking something. Does it just pull off??? Would appreciate any help.

Could you 'fish' it from the port storage under the glovebox using a straightened out coathanger w/ a hook bent in the end????

Simple cure -
1) Run some Dental Floss down the channel as far as you can and suck it out from the other end with your shop Vac.

2) use the Dental floss as your wire fish, and pull through!
