Ok...one of my winter projects is to fabricate a tent that goes up easily. We camped on the shore about 15 nights last season but then discovered how awesome sleeping on the boat in the cove was. For the most part, don't really need a tent but sometimes a quick shower can roll through so it would be nice.

Here is the basic thought

I have a full cover, that covers everything that I can use as a prototype. I'm thinking some framework and a little custom tailoring and I'm in business.

For those who have not used the boat as an overnighter, you don't know what your missing...esp if you have a nice 23-24 footer.

I had a custom half top made for my Z1. I call it a "storm shield" as I've been caught out on big lakes when a storm comes up. It keeps everyone dry when heading in to a nasty storm. However it could be extended out the back if you really wanted. Between this and the long bimini, you could have the entire passenger compartment covered.
