Sounds like 2 different issues:
1. Regarding the sound level of the in boat speakers, check the gains on your amp first to make sure nothing seems out of adjustment (screw knobs on side). Don't mess with them if you are not comfortable, a little adjustment can make a big difference (good or bad).
2. On the blue tooth, something sounds wrong there. Do you have a jack in the the glove box to connect via USB and see how it sounds? My Z3 is a 15 and I don't know how the systems compare between years. That said, my music is as clear via Bluetooth as it is via USB.
Even though my boat came tuned well from the dealer, I felt the system was a little lacking. Adding a 420 really woke up the Rev 10s and Sub IMHO.
