    Sounds like 2 different issues:
    1. Regarding the sound level of the in boat speakers, check the gains on your amp first to make sure nothing seems out of adjustment (screw knobs on side). Don't mess with them if you are not comfortable, a little adjustment can make a big difference (good or bad).
    2. On the blue tooth, something sounds wrong there. Do you have a jack in the the glove box to connect via USB and see how it sounds? My Z3 is a 15 and I don't know how the systems compare between years. That said, my music is as clear via Bluetooth as it is via USB.

Even though my boat came tuned well from the dealer, I felt the system was a little lacking. Adding a 420 really woke up the Rev 10s and Sub IMHO.

Gorgeous boat man, classic and mean looking at the same time!

but the in-boat is a little lacking.
in what way? Your 2017 is built with the new Revo series in-boats and are one of the finest sounding marine speaker, period! Amp wise, they are driven with 100W rms to each. Spot on wattage. The amps i believe are the new DSP series Syn amps and are tuned with a program, rather than the mounter at the tige factory turning some dials, or not.

And the sound is really weak and cuts out at low volume, especially when connected with Bluetooth -- I had to have the phone volume all the way up
I would expect that the blue tooth transmitter would need to be near max level in order to get the full output from the system. Check your source units internal EQ. I suggest setting it to off or flat. That are designed for EQ'ing head phones not streaming to a quality full range system.

      Describe weak and cuts out?

Yes, check the fade/balance settings as well as any integrated zone control within the main source unit.

As usual, chpthril and KoolAid are spot on -- there are no controls on the amps, everything is preset.

I'm probably being picky -- I usually like a nice deep V on my equalizers. These are definitely quality speakers.

If this link works, here's a video, may need to turn your sound up. No fade or balance controls, and the zone controls are all evenly balanced. This is a strong local FM station; it sounds the same regardless of FM, bluetooth, or direct line-in:

The boats were tuned by Wetsounds specific for each model of boat. It should sound awesome.

There is no adjustment on the amplifiers for the end user.
My house battery was at 11.8, cranking was at 12.5. Even if combined, I still have the issue. Both batteries are now on a charger to see if that makes a difference.

Kinda amazing the differences in the sound system controls in just 2 years!

So, back to the satellite radio, I had already purchased the SXV300, though I can probably return that.

Anyone have any ideas on which radio and how to mount? I really want to keep things clean and professional, so I don't want to stick mounts to vinyl or in awkward places. Also seems like putting it in the glove box isn't ideal because I can't easily change up stations.

I thought about the Stratus 7 and putting it in the back of the box below the Tige Touch, but, I don't think there's enough room, its about 2 1/2" in the holder, and from the best I can measure, I the box is only 2 1/4" tall.

The connections should be easy -- I found a spare aux input, and I can splice into power that's controlled by the magic button. Antenna could mount next to the GPS receiver with only a small hole to run the cable down.

            Any ideas or thoughts?

I had it installed on our last boat, and I am having it installed on our current boat next month. My best recommendation; contact chpthril directly, follow his guidance, and purchase whatever you need from him directly. You can't go wrong going that route.

How did you have it installed? And if he doesn't chime in here, I'll definitely contact chpthril, he's chimed in earlier in this thread about the frustration of dropping the XM-ready...

On our first boat (2014), we purchased one of these https://shop.hamiltonmarine.com/prod...FUSBswodCSkMRg and one of these https://www.amazon.com/SIRIUS-SCC1-C.../dp/B000Q9UFKU. The head unit connects to the SCC1 (mounted underneath the helm if I remember correctly), and the SCC1 connected to the antenna. The picture of the antenna is somewhat deceiving, as it's just the top part with wires hanging underneath. We had it mounted on the dash, drivers side. However, I am like you with our new boat and don't want it on the dash... so they are going to mount it on the small horizontal portion just in front of the passenger window, right next to the cup holder. There is just enough room for it there on our '14 Z1. That's just the antenna though. The head units we have had were satellite ready, and the TT1 will connect to everything once we have it set up (or so I have been told).

Your 2014 can use that direct tuner -- the '17s cannot anymore, the ICE system is no longer satellite ready. That means I have to have a standalone tuner and plug it into an auxiliary jack, like everybody used to do in their car before they were all satellite ready standard.

Something like this is about the smallest they make that I can find: link. Also considering this one if I could find a way to mount it without looking tacky.

Nothing to apologize for, not sure if making one big thread for my boat is the right take or not , definitely appreciate any and all advice!

Got an update on my stereo issue (sound cutting out below 10); it sounds like this is a more widespread issue. We tried every '17 in the showroom, and they all did it. My dealer contacted Tige, he said they are aware and working on a software fix.

Eh, I'll take it as a compliment, my boat looks good enough he wanted to say something

We almost went with a black deck; he talked us out of it because at the base paint level it meant all the interior fiberglass would be black as well, which would have been too great a scratch and burn risk. The graphite is actually not too bad in the sun, maybe a little hotter than white, though not near as scalding as black.

Also got more info on the stereo issue; sounds like I just need to install a software update and it should be fixed. I actually have the update file; does anyone know if I can install it myself with a flash drive, or do I have to take it back to the dealer?
