The pictures for sure make it look flat, I think its taller then what the picture makes it look like. I think Malibu-Y is a pretty good comparison....... I dont think he's ok with that.......

Sorry I am late and my master wave technician has answered most of the questions.
No Dakota...Never Ever. You have a beautiful state...but NO! Your welcome to sunny CA. Anytime though.
So here is what I have changed since the first trip:
2 new batteries (so the boat would start haha)
New prop-Acme 1235
Additional 300 in lead (200 in the bow, 100 in the rear)
Moved the lead to the rear of the boat (but not behind the partition, it's under the Enzo 350 lead a side)
Day 1 was blown out pretty bad but we were able to get this:

I use Jenn because she is average height, everything blah next to me. Wave looks okay, but absolutely no push could be weather, wind but doubtful. She has ridden in much worse on slower boards on smaller waves no problem.
This is much better than this from Trip 1 credit Dave Powell another normal size person:

Day 2:
Added roughly 300lbs to the bow for a total of 500ish up front. We work specifically on the goofy side this trip mostly. We got this:

Here is what makes me think bow weight is the devil on the boat. This is my listed wave 3000lbs surf side only (no bow weight):

Here is picture of the bow while in motion for listed wave:

I am weighting to see what Ryan at GSA has for me he seems to have a plan to get this wave dialed in. I'll keep this thread alive till I get this sorted out. Whether it's a picture of a massive monster that will sink the titanic or a wonder review of how to remove a GSA system and do gel coat repair.
I am not saying we tried EVERYTHING, and I am not giving up just yet. But I/we are quickly running out weight placement ideas. My life's journey is not ending up looking pretty, its sliding in broadside, used up, worn out, screaming "What a Ride"

The sheer size of the these tabs alone will not allow for a vertical deployment. Right now we are deploying roughly 8-10 degree, I may push this to 15-18 to see what happens. Only after we have exhausted all other options. My life's journey is not ending up looking pretty, its sliding in broadside, used up, worn out, screaming "What a Ride"

What makes this hull different than a Z3 hull that responds so well to taps 3? With my 21v it did not respond well at all to a Taps 3 tab at near vertical. Maybe this one will.Germaine Marine

I say ditch the bow weight, let it rise up, and set the tab to 13 or 15 or 18 degrees and see what you get. Start with that dial all the way to the right. Then dial it back bit by bit, and let out some weight on non-surf side. Or, wait until Ryan helps out. Tell him you're broadcasting this process on the forums and he needs to come out and dial this baby in!
He installed one on my friends Epic 23 2 weeks ago and the guy is happy as a clam. I think it is in there.
If this ends up as a lost cause, is Ryan taking the system back or would you have to sell it? I still have faith in you, other than I can't believe you don't want to come back up here. What is the status of my old boat these days?Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like bananas!

Not giving up, I will exhaust all options before I get to that point. I haven't and won't discuss return options with Ryan until I truely believe we have tried everything.
Your old boat...well it sat here at my house all last summer. I did all the fluids and impeller for him in April last year. It sat and sat. It is now for sale unfortunately and if I had the funds I would buy it. Though I was able to borrow the Duffy flap but never got a chance to install it on my boat. Which brings me to my next idea, GSA with the Duffy flap. I know guys wanted to see a Taps3 with VX. I may be able to try am expieriment to test that if I can get the flap installed. My life's journey is not ending up looking pretty, its sliding in broadside, used up, worn out, screaming "What a Ride"
