The boat will not top 28 MPH and will accelerate/decelerate on its own. Dealer believes it is a ECU problem. Anyone experience similar problems? Boat has 12 hours on it.

ECU problem
The boat is a 2004 221i. It does have perfect pass but it has never been activated.Comment

The reason I ask is that it acts just like my boat when I have Perfect pass on and set to a speed. It won't accelerate above more thatn 4 or 5 mph above what perfect pass is set to and then it will decelerate to the set speed. You can usually tell this is happening because it beeps at you.Originally posted by sablitt
