    Trailer Question...?

    If anyone can answer this it would help alot...
    What tool should I use to tighten the lug-nuts on the wheel of the trailer and where could I get this tool...?
    Thanks for nay suggestions...

    Any auto supply store or Walmart will have a good lug nut tool .. just make sure you double check the size .. you will need a good jack too and possibly a spare tire ..

      If you want to get technical buy a torque wrench from Sears or someplace, call the trailer manufacture and find out what size socket you need if you cant figure it out and ask the torque of the nuts or bolts and proceed. Some people overtighten lugs and make them impossible to get loose in a flat tire situation or even stretch them to the point of failure although a good mechanic can be pretty accurate just by feel, I guess it all depends on your skill level. Always tighten in a criss cross pattern and in steps, dont tighten the first one all the way and then the next or your wheel will be crooked. You should always recheck the torque after the first road trip.Have fun.
