Any ideas on how I could sell that idea to my wife????
Find a friend who's got one (failing that, make friends with your dealer and get invited out) and invite her friends out (as many as you can) and then go out on it. As long as she has a good time she'll figure out PDQ that it's much more comfortable and it's got a sundeck just for her to lay out on

Of course, once you have a V-Drive, this doesn't work (or at least it hasn't for me).

Maybe the new RZ-2 is different enough?

I am still letting the RZ-2 grow on me. I do like a lot of the features and handling (got to drive it at our owners reunion)

I will start working on getting out in one. I am sure all I would have to do is say something to our dealer. They are awesome! Just have to make sure it doesn't look like a setup to my wife.

The only other problem is I can't fit a bigger boat in my building. I hope to remedy that next fall though.

I did not supply the correct qualifiers around my wake comments. The 22Ve wake at 36 MPH at 22 and 28 off is comparable to dedicated ski boat wakes like a CC196 or 206. Since this is what I ski at (and the owner of the CC206) we were extremely pleased.

Thanks for the qualifiers, you almost put direct drives out of business!

How is the 22Ve at 32 and 34 MPH?

              Wake

Too many other variables to answer

34 on shorter lines would be pretty good if you are an aggressive
              on-edge skier.

32 or 34 at 15 off if you don't pull through wakes MAY be problematic

We only did 22 and 28 off at 36 mph during the demo, maybe others can opine.
