I don't know about the mountain lakes, but Willard Bay has had nothing more than a slight ripple the last 3 Saturdays in a row. By 4-5pm each time (if not sooner) it was complete glass. We've pulled the tubes out for that and have had a blast getting whipped across the wake and into the smooth water. Almost makes me wish I had brought a wakeboard, ALMOST. Despite being cold, October has been the best water all summer, hands down.
