If it lasts. What's normal that time of year?

I'll be in Phoenix for Christmas through New Years. Hope to test drive a few boats and surf behind them. What do you anticipate air/water temps? Wets suits for sure?

I really don't know water temps to expect as I'm a SLC native and that was the first time I pulled the boat down there. There may be some historical data somewhere on the web that will give you an idea. I know that air temps that time of year can vary a lot. We have seen cold and rainy in the 50's to mid 70's. I'm sure wet suits are in order.
