    Tigé Factory Tour

I was in Abilene today and took some time to tour the factory and it was awesome! When I called them to schedule the tour they knew my name and knew I'm already a Tigé owner. The experience certainly raised my respect level of our fine boats. Thank you Tigé!IMG_6909.jpgIMG_6911.jpgIMG_6922.jpg

From the limited info I have got, You may not see it, one mold means only about 30 made this year in total.....

This boat by all accounts is aiming to be the best surf boat built to date, and by no means the little brother to the rzx3. The changes made have been to enhance the current rzx platform.

          Im really excited...

i stand corrected, never thought there would be that much diff. in price for 1 ft.

Don't get to hung up on this. That's just caller ID and a CRM. It's a good touch though.

Tige puts out some nice boats. I'm amazed at the flack they take from other people sometimes. They all have their pro's and con's. I don't think anyone really makes a shi##ty boat anymore.

Yeah, the numbers don't really add up. $10,000 per foot = $220,000 for the boat. After making the mold, I bet it costs next to nothing extra to make a 22' boat into a 23' boat. But like I said in the other thread, it has to be enough to justify doing it. To be honest, I was hoping for more...$20k+.

Tige does a great job! The Plant tour was great!! Loved seeing the process step by step and all the people were so friendly!!
From the Design Process to the Plant Tour to the Ownership experience we couldnt be happier.
I recently had a small issue with my Surf Link Remote. A few text messages with Tige to trouble shoot it and a new one was in the mail.

The boat was designed to surpass the rzx3.... Same
Interior size roughly minus the surf locker, and a bottom redesign -4 in over width to enhance what they had with the rzx3 which will allow the boat to lean over further with plates In the water.

The boat wasn't designed to be a more cost effective rzx, it was designed to go by it in a 1 foot shorter more efficient package....

dealer was in an rzx2 and was saying it's the sickest Tige to date all around and surfs like no other.

Sounds like almost a different, newer, better boat. Perhaps they should have given it a different name. Sounds like they are learning fast, making better designs, and should avoid the name confusion.

I wish they would have disclosed to everyone that their was a bottom change... The -4 inches had a drastic change in cleanness of the wave without sacrificing the push and height that the rzx3 flat bottom
                              Shape produces..

He dealers also surfed it with an extra grand on top of the 3k under floor. Something that most didn't experience when they toured the rzX/rzx3 when it was released.
