    Alpha Z Tower light

Hi everybody, anyone ever tried to change their alpha Z tower lights? Before i unscrew the plastic and remove the existing bulb i'd like some opinion! Is it simple? are they easy to put back in place! I dont want to mess arround trying to refix them and take a chance to break something on my new boat haha.. im thinking replace them with some LED's maybe some of you already done that. I think they are MR16 but im not sure. Are they? I have a 2016 RZR. And are they much brighter?
    Thanks guys

    Hello

Yep your correct they are MR16 and most LED lights work. Just make sure the face of the bulb is flat. The light slides into a groove in the plastic shroud. Led lights look alot better than the stock bulbs. Its a very easy upgrade 3 philliphs screws in total.

How many WATTS are the original bulb replacing with a MR16? Is the original 20 Watts equivalent?

I went to a 35 wat equivalent... It was a little difficult finding a 6k bulb that had a 30 degree beam that also had the correct housing to fit, but here is a snapshot of one in to see the difference..

Mr16 is the only equivalent you can use.. Finding a bulb that has the correct front face, led color and beam angle is the hard part.

I think @Scrib and I were hoping you had a URL link to the final product you used (lazy, I know...love it when other people figure out the hard stuff first!)

I used a bulb that required me modifying the channel in which the bulb slides, merely because I bought about 30 bulbs and love the 6k color vs the typical 3k.

So... the bulb will fit without any modification but wont slide in and out of the channel.

                          here ya go...

I just did mine thanks everybody. I bough them on Amazon MR16 6000K 7w and fit perfectly. Just make sure the top are flat because you need to slide it in the hole. I love this mod it makes a big difference.
