Not so crazy. Your boat weighs only slightly more than mine, yet it's 2 feet longer. Same engine, pretty much the same everything. The Convex V is probably less accentuated and so you actually get less of the rocker effect. When you compare the pounds per surface area, my boat will float less than yours. Add some more weight and the difference is greater. That's why the 24vs require soooo much weight compared to a 22v.

    Make sense?

Thanks Dog for the discourse. Yes, it does make sense, the two extra feet does add a lot of surface area. I am looking into getting some Pro X Fly High fat sacs and a tsunami pump for some additional weight. Any suggestions on ballast and pumps?

Taps usually set between 4.5 and 6.

Is this a good surf wake? Guess the configuration.

Holy Tsunami Zeda That is one sick wake!

Configuration: 2 Cement Trucks in the left rear storage - 1 Boeing 707 in the bow?

What kind of board is that? Sweet wake too.

I'll start by saying sorry to highjack, but I really like the vibe and action this site throws...better than planetnautique for sure. I guess I will be the redheaded stepchild from now on. Some may know that I recently switched boats from a Tige 22V to the CC220. That's stock configuration on the 220 with three peeps in the corner, no additional sacks. That's port side and the other side is better because of prop rotation. I'm really impressed with the surf wake behind this boat.

The board is a butter board. Very nice for learning but I'm ready for something that carves a little quicker with smaller fins that provides opportunity for tricks.

Zeda, as far as I am concerned you are always welcome on the board! Perhaps we will be able to pursuade you to return from the darkside
I have that same Butter Board. I love it right now, but hope to outgrow it as well. It is very easy to get up on and very easy to control. I also like the soft tip on the front of the board. How did Powell treat you, did you get rained out? We got rained out on saturday, I will post some pics later on.

                    Thanks Moki.

I'm glad I'm always welcome on the board. I was hoping that's the response I would get. Not sure about returning from the darkside, but you never know. The 2007 Tiges are looking really good. Here is a link of some photos it posed on WW.

I think if you were anywhere near Powell on Saturday, you got rained out. We ended up exploring the primitive camp sites near Bullfrog on Saturday...in a killer 4X4 LandCruiser.

                      Zeda,

My buddy's Big nautique did not throw a surf wake like that, but maybe we never quite got it dialed in. I think his was the 226? Is there such a thing...maybe yours is different. Thanks for sharing with us.
                      Be excellent to one another.

                        Tall,

We have the CC220. I've heard the CC226 isn't as good for surfing. We are considering a trip this weekend down to St. George for Mtn. Biking and possibly some boating. Are you going to be around? It would be nice to hook up if we make it down that way. Not sure if we will bring the boat or not.

                        Jason

Jason, Sweet Pics! It looks like a fun time was had by all! I use to cruise around in a friend's vintage 70's landcruiser, those things are mountain goats. You gotta love Lake Powell in the fall, it's my favorite time to go. We bailed to St. George when the rain came.

I can't say anything bad about the CC's, other than they are $$$$. Did you get yours at Taylors?

                            Moki,

I purchased the boat from Taylors. I got a pretty good deal on it since it was the second boat I purchased from them. In addition to that, (as the story goes) Taylors originally ordered it for a lady with a sugar daddy and apparently they had some relationship problems and he refused to buy the boat for her. It is loaded very nice and Taylors knew I wanted one, so they gave me a great deal on it. They were great to work with. Couldn't imagine buying a boat from any other dealer.

She lied to me, I thought what we had was real! But she lied! Would you have bought her a boat if she had lied to you?

Anyway, I am glad that the boat went to somebody deserving it.
