Thought I'd add something from the midwest, Norris Lake, TN.

                  Top Heavy,
How much ballast are you using to get that awesome wake?

I'm the one in the water with my son. He is 4 1/2 in the pic. He didn't quite get up, but he's thinkin about it. The guy on the swim deck has a 6 year old daughter that rode all week!

That is awesome, I used to teach ski lessons in college and younger kids can be the best students. I didn't get my kids wakeboarding until they were around 9. Keep up the good work!

                        Wake (Moki)

                        Moki,

Best part is...... no ballast. 2002 21V riders edition with a driver, spotter, and me surfing. You should see it with 12 people in the boat. Gotta Love Tige!

We started skiing ours when they were 3 1/2 and wakeboarding the next year. I've got an old Kawasaki TS that's very stable. It's ideal for teaching really young kids to ski or wakeboard because there's virtually no wake and you can start close to shore in less than 2 feet of water. Once they get comfortable on that and can zip in and out of the small wake, we graduate them to the Tige.

Taught a lot of our friends kids to ski, wakeboard, surf and kneeboard over the years...it's so much fun to see the look on their face when they succeed.

That's the best part about owning/driving the boat, I love it when a first-timer gets up

Dogbert, That's a great idea pulling them behind a wave runner, not as intimidating. I will try that with my younger kids. Dogbert/Chpthril, I agree that it is a lot of fun getting somebody up for their first time at any age.

That is crazy, I have a 2000 2300V. I can tell that I need ballast. What do you set your TAPS at?
