                      I seen this on Myth Busters, they had a guy waterskiing behind one of Stanford team row boats. Beautiful picture. Is that Austin?

                        Moki,
                        The area in Washington State where we boat looks very similar to your neck of the woods. It's high desert with little or no rainfall and temps in the 90's -100's consistantly during the summer. This time of year we have the water all to ourselves, even on weekends.

                          The only time we get the water to ourselves is in the middle of the day when everyone is at work. Weekends here are still pretty crazy. Can you camp along the river?

                            Yes... a lot of primitive areas and a few parks. Been so busy we didn't get a chance to camp this year.
