    04 riders edition graphics

Hey guys recently bought another tige ....04 22v riders edition after being out of riding for 8 years. I previously had an 03 20v. Its hard to fathom how expensive boats have gotten! I have a few questions on things I need. The boat was has zero graphics or decals as it was recently sanded and buffed. I have searched all over the internet and contacted Lee at tige to see who was the original supplier for the graphics and..well.. they have gone out of business. Any idea who can make the riders edition graphics for the boat? I Emailed a local wrap place in town and he quoted me at $1500 to duplicate?!?!? also anyone had any luck replacing the faria gauges? need volt and fuel gauge, the tach and speedo work but are yellowing. Perfect pass up button shorted out on me the first day out. haha go figure and they do not repair single line displays any longer.

    any suggestions or help?

Glad to be back on the forum

I have an 05 Tige 24V and ended up finding this place, referred to me from the parts manager at Tige. I was after the West Coast graphics in red/black/grey. http://www.canbygraphics.com/ Contact Zack at chris@canbygraphics.com and zack@canbygraphics.com. I paid $250/side. Of course that was just for the graphics and did not include installation. Pics below, ignore my pup.

With regards to the gauges, I am in the same boat and am looking for a fuel gauge. Faria can replace the gauges. I think the model (at least for my 05) is Performance Silver Series w/ SS Bezel & Silver Dial.
I just bought a fuel gauge on ebay located here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/401165440247. Fingers crossed it is the right one.

Congrats on the new boat as well!

I like those graphics.. I actually had put those on my old 20v when they first come out, but the wife is not a fan. my gauges are also the performance silver series. I emailed Faria, but havn't heard back from them yet.
good looking dog. love the all white boat also.

Just a suggestion but this would be a great opportunity to update the look of your boat. You may want to consider decals from the latest model years.

I have an 05 22v with the tribal graphics and they are fairly faded and will be one of my projects in the next season or two.

I had the same issue with my gauges, needed volt and fuel, or so I thought.

The fuel gauge actually ended up being fine. It was my sending unit that was bad. Really easy to replace and it works perfectly now. Would recommend checking that if you haven't already.
I have the performance silver series gauges as well and I was going to buy a replacement from ebay before I discovered the sending unit was bad. Unless you are replacing because it is yellowing like your tach and spedo, then ignore.

I could not find a replacement volt gauge in the performance silver anywhere though. I ended up buying a performance white volt gauge off ebay and removing the aluminum trim rims and swapping in my silver bezel, trim ring, needle, and glass into the good gauge. A little bit of minor work, but well worth it keeping all the gauges matching.

good idea! well I found a new fuel gauge on ebay for $29.00 so I scooped it up. where can I get a fuel sending unit. Interestingly enough on my first outing in the boat I smelled gas in the bilge area only to finally discover it was leaking fuel around the sending unit. ended up all I needed to do is tighten the unit down on the seal...problem fixed. On the volt guage what did you use to seal everything back up? Does anyone Know if the tach and speedo are repairable by Faria? mine work fine just look rough

Skiguy I am also looking into the design that's on the R20's with the chromax tige emblem. I like the simple look of it, but part of the graphic is gelcoat. It should be easy to have something duplicated/similar made though.

I picked up a Moeller Marine universal sending unit from Amazon. eBay sells the same ones as well.
You will need to check what style sending unit your boat has. My 2004 21i has the standard 33-240ohm resistance style unit, all it has is two wires, a ground and a sending wire. I would think yours would be similar.
The newer boats have 3-4 wires one of them being 12volts to my understanding.
Mine had a reed style unit stock, but the float was missing. I put the standard "pivot arm" style in. They come long and you cut the arm for the depth of your tank.

The volt gauge has a gasket that goes inside the trim ring behind the glass. It's a self sealing unit. Its pretty easy getting the ring off, getting it back on was more difficult.

I've been looking at that too. It's a good look for sure. I think it may help hold the value of the boat a bit by gong with a newer scheme.
