What do you all do about the carpeted trim in the main cabin. I have a 05 22V and its screwed in and also hides the screws that hold the back seat in. I like the clean look of not being there but won't like gel-patching the screw holes. My thought was to just leave it and leave some of the carpet in the boat (walls).
If I'm not mistaken, I believe Stingreye on here did something similar - IIRC leaving the carpeted trim...maybe he will chime in soon...

Mine is 2012 so only snap in carpet. I left all of the snaps in place and you don't notice them with the deckedence

Another vote for deckedence! My buddy had it in his Centurion, loved it to death, that will be my next flooring upgrade

^ Sick! What did you do to prep the floor for the SeaDek?

I pulled up the carpet, and used a wire brush drill bit to remove the remaining old adhesive. Then put down the Behr Deckover product from Home Depot. I took a swatch of the to SeaDek to Home Depot and matched it up with the closest color that they offered, which happened to be the darkest color that offer. This is what it looked like before I put the SeaDek down.

I have deckadence in my boat and it is awesome....easy to clean, soft on feet, dries super fast and I could not be happier (if you drop a dry towel on floor after boating a few hours and have a small amount of water in cabin....towel will get wet with Sea Deck and will not with Deckadence. I have the SeaDeck on swim platform and walk thru. Boat is a 2014....the deckadence is still in perfect condition, the Sea Deck (and boat was purchased brand new in March of 2015 as leftover....so only 2 season on it), anyway it is starting to chip, small tears in place and starting to fade. I thinkthe deckadence will outlast Sea Deck or Gator Step by double or triple.
No comparison in my opinion. No adhesive so if ever replaced, that is also super easy. Having person experience with it, I would never choose anything else in my boat.
Dont get me wrong, LOVE the look of the Sea Deck, its just obvious that it will not last as long and is a lot more work to maintain

Cubby_z, That looks great! What did u do where the carpet rolls up the wall under the dash? Do u have any photos of this? I have a 2001 2100v and I'm thinking about doing deckadence next year. My prep work will be similar to yours.

Yes, that is the Tile-Clad product from Sherwood Williams. I looked into this because it looked great here. What I found was that's SW discontinued this product and it is not recommended for outdoor or direct sunlight exposure...

I left the carpet on the walls and only replaced the carpet on the floor. I will take some pics this weekend...

This is awesome. I have a 2006 20V and I'm putting Gatorstep in my boat. Could you take a few photos of the panels below your seat? I'm currious how that template looked. Also, did you send them one large template or each piece individually cut out and marked? And now that you've had the material on the boat for a while, how is it sticking down? Any issues with pealing up? I'm debating the Behr product you mentioned or gel coat. Is the Behr product a roll on out of a can? Thanks!! Looks awesome!

Cubby, did u get some more photos? I'm curious how you cut the carpet to leave it on the walls under the dash?? Did u just run a razor blade along the edge? I'd be worried about the carpet fraying.
