What can I expect from stock 2016 Z3 with TAPS 3 and surf XL package

I am about 2 weeks away from bringing home a 2016 Z3. I've seen Elevated's wave with an extra 400 lbs in each side and it looks great. I really don't want to mess around with lead this season and we like to do a lot of things behind the boat as well: wakeboard, wakeskate, wakescooter, foil, tube, kneeboard, etc. and I would prefer to not be running around with an extra 800lbs in the back all day long since surfing is only one of many things we do.

So, that said, what can I expect from it stock? For reference, we dabble in surfing a bit now but really don't do it much since it is such a pain to get the wave just right. Instead of surf, we wakescooter...which is basically wakeboarding or wake skating at 14MPH and a super short line that goes about to the rooster tail. Great way to learn how to jump wake to wake BTW.

Anyways, what are your thoughts on a stock Z3, Taps3 with surf XL package? Pics appreciated

I know it's a surf boat but if anyone can comment on the slalom wake that would be great. I know it won't be a 19 foot, closed bow DD wake. I actually kinda like to jump the wake on my slalom ski.

    Thanks

It produces a fine wave stock......

Just for your information, I do every water sport imaginable all day everyday, tub, cruise, air chair, ski etc.

The 400 in each locker which doesn't move doesn't affect much on its own. When you add the remaining 3k with the stock system it's a diff story. So I wouldn't let that sway your opinion. But to each is own

          Full rears, 70% front 11.2speed

Full rears, 450 on floor, bow 70% Speed 11.2

Full rears, 450 on floor, bow full, speed 11.2

Full rears, 70% front, speed 11.2

Full rears, 450 on floor, 70% front, speed 11.2

Full rears, 450 floor, front full, spead 11.2

Just a few for you. I think most people will have 4 to 5 adults of weight on the boat. if you dont there are some of the stock weight with light crew above too. It's definitely surfable, just not competition level without the extra weight. I recommend running a minimum of 11.2.

These are all with taps at 4 and taps 3 at 5. On my boat i see no difference between 1-5 and 5 makes the boat run much smoother. My boat does not like taps 3 above 5.

my boat however makes the best wave with the surf plate always fully deployed.... 1 for both sides and does not ever change

This is reg and goofy when I only had 100 lbs of lead in each corner..

              And here it is now...

The first is with the center taps plate at 2, long rampy but still more of a skim wave

This one is with the taps plate at 4, super tall and rampy for big airs etc..

I forgot to add, I have the 440 in my boat and those pictures were taken on a body of water at 5400 feet. Stock prop on my boat was 2419 and still using it.
