New 2015 R20 owner

Hi all,

We got our R20 few weeks ago. Really enjoing the boat, but have some questions. We got a version with a cabin heater which is very usefull for our Canadian climate. The only thing looks strange to me that the heater vents are blowing into the bow enterence and there is no door that closes the hole under the windshield. All this heat is waisted. My dealer claims that it is not coming with R20. Can someone confirm? Have anybody made a bow cover for their R20?

Tige makes a windscreen for the R series boats, you would have to ask your dealer for pricing but they should be able to order that from Tige. It is essentially a piece of lexan with the Tige symbol in the middle of it. That will help with keeping the hot air in the cockpit area of the boat and not in the bow. If you want to go the route of a bow snap-in cover any decent canvas guy should be able to make one and install the snaps on the boat. Congrats on the new boat!!!!

Welcome to the Tige family. I am not sure but can you provide pictures?

On our Z3 heater the tubes pull out with black flex duct giving you flexibility on where the heat is directed.

I believe the heater vent pulls out of its housing so you can direct the heat other places, such as underneath a towel on your lap
