I am confused with you talking convex vx, is that not the add on tail that tige was using, before the name changed to avx. Are you meaning the convex v hull. I am just curious and like to see what all these new boats are up to. Keep up all the good info

Yes the convex V, as in the hull. Its designed to draw down into the water, its based around coanda effect.
With surfing in my experience at slower speeds it doesent want to stay consistent unless you get enough rear weight to hold it in place. Once you get it there you can take the speed up usually a whole another MPH and not lose shape or length.Germaine Marine

Depends what you bring with you. We usually are only out for an hour or two at a time before heading back to the dock. So, it's not a problem for us (we are not lugging around skis and tubes and other crap when we go out to surf). There is pretty good storage under the seats in the cockpit and under the passenger side dash.
