I bought two big jugs of Malco years ago and still using it. It's a great product for deep cleaning for sure. Apparently the Totally Awesome is just the knock off product and works well as noted. I always use my Malco undiluted. It does need to be wiped off or rinsed after. You will need to follow up with a 303 or similar as Malco is a cleaner only, not a protectant.

I dilute the TA and it still works well IMO

My entire boat needs a good deep cleaning. Someone should make a master list and get it stickied.

I would start with a aggressive vinyl cleaner (not bleach or Magic erasure). I found Malco Leather and vinyl cleaner very good. Spray, undiluted, onto seats and gently brush the seats in a circular pattern. Then rinse with water and repeat if needed. Hopefully this will clean and remove the "hardness" and restore color. If color is still not restored you can use SEM Color Coat and paint them. It sounds crazy but it's made for such a thing and works. You will need SEM Sand Free to prep. I can send you a more detailed write up on how to if you get to that stage. The paint can also be "matched" if can't find a rattle can that matches.
Malco and SEM can be found on Amazon. But Malco is cheapest if buy from their website. Buy the gallon. Later you can dilute 1:10 and use as a daily.
If this doesn't work then looks like you have a very expensive next option and bummer for such a new boat.

Thanks for the info. The harness was pretty surprising. Previous owner left in the sun uncovered. They lost that soft feel and and were super stiff. I have tried the starbright soap and conditioner and saw nothing different. I got a wild hair and grabbed some of my wife's hair conditioner and lathered the seat up and let set in the garage and they feel like they are brand new now. I had already tried some diluted bleach in a spray bottle to get the discoloration out already. I was gonna try the TA from dollar store next to see if it could bring back the original color.

I'm content with the results I have now. They are 10x better than what I started with but I sure would like to give it another shot on bringing it back to the original color. But no lie the hair conditioner works pretty dang good. Before you could bounce a quarter off the hard seats now they feel brand new.

Thanks. I am gonna try the TA and see how it works. I have a good supply of the 303 ready for the summer but I was reading somewhere, not sure where, but a few said that 303 does more harm than good. I have heard way more great things about it than bad so I'll continue to use it. Just wondering if y'all have heard of any of the same rumors.

I do not dilute the "LA awesome"....I have never heard that 303 conditioner is bad. I use it on the regular and having it on there makes anything come off easier if spilled, etc

I love the boat bling hot sauce for the hull but the the boat bling vinyl cleaner leaves much to be desired.

Thanks, I went with this over the weekend, and it just was so easy to clean my boat vinyl. Awesome!
