2000 21v with tower somewhat loose at gunnels. Have similar problem with extra weight of speakers top of tower. Do I remove side panels to get inside gunnel to tighten base? If so, do I get to inside of side panels via removal of seat covers below panels? Lake Anna, VA. Thanks. Walt M.

This may be 2d post of same problem; can't find first one just sent. 2000 21v with black tower and extra weight similar to above boat. Similar problem with sway but can see tower feet are loose at top of gunnel. Assume remove seat cover and reach under and up to remove whatever side panels are attached to below tower feet to then get to inside gunnels to tighten tower feet. Right? Lake Anna, VA. Thanks. Walt M.

I have he Z series tower on my 08 RZ4 and have similar movement on my tower. I have had one weld break on the forward leg right in front of the helm. I got it re-welded and keep an eye on the rest of the tower. I tow quite a distance to my lake (including about 15 miles of dirt mountain roads) so I drop my tower speakers (2 REV10's and a REV410) and then use a pair of ratchet straps to stabilize the tower for towing.

i still can't figure how to remove side upholstery panels located below rear tower feet. Objective is to get access to whatever secures feet to boat and hopefully be able to tighten them. I'll continue this problem in upholstery section. Thanks.

They should be through bolted. You should be able to reach the nuts from the speaker hole if nearby, from the shifter panel area (once the shifter panel is removed), from the rear hatches and from the observer storage area. Good rule of thumb for all Tigé models built before 2013.
            Oh Yeah!

So far not so good. Need to remove 3 bolts from side panel adjacent to observer storage area. Can reach first 2 but need at least a 12 inch long 7/16 in wrench to get to last one and then trying to mount the nut while working blind. One reason mechanics deserve their hourly rate.

Full disclosure, haven't read this whole post. Do you have the cooler under spotter butt?? If so you can finagle it out to get to that tough one. You have to lay in a real weird position to get your shoulder in cooler hole and reach up into gunnel to get that last one. Thanks for understanding what us poor guys deal with for a living. At least its not heavy equipment, boats at least stay clean. Wait until you reach into that hole and get a big shard of glass between your fingernail and meat of your finger, or have to start cutting glass to get into spots. Then it's real fun

Any other ideas or insight for tower stability while towing?

I was thinking of playing around with some support ideas.
