Speedset Display unattached--fell behind Dash--Epoxy fix?

    All

My 2007 24ve's SpeedSet display has fallen behind the dash. I temporarily fixed with duct tape, then tried double sided Velcro tape, but it keeps working it's way loose and falls off. It was originally either glued or epoxy'ed on from the factory and I'm looking for the right 'stuff' to re-attach. Has anyone done this fix, and if so, what did you use?

    Thanks in advance

Sounds like a good time to get rid of speed set and get perfect pass! I hate the speedset on our 2006 24ve, it's very hard to get to set correctly. I'd think you need some sort of epoxy to get it to stay. Hopefully someone chimes in with better help!

i haven't experienced this issue as I am fortunate to have perfect pass. I have heard this stuff is a great adhesive and has enough flex to stay together under the 'jarring" of marine use.

        All:

I talked to Justin @ Tige and he said they used a methyl acrylate epoxy at the factory for the seal due to the vibrtations and such. I just ordered some methyl acrylate adhiesive online as I couldn't find any at HomeDepot or Lowes. They were all cyanoacrylate--super glue-- type things. I'll report when I am done
