    2015 Z1 Bimini issues?

So was wondering if anyone else has had these issues? 2015 Z1 with standard length Sunbrella Bimini.

First we noticed the surf rope rubs the End of the Bimini at the rear edge; I guess you can't use the Bimini and surf at the same time?

Second, went to store two surf boards only to find starboard side pocket won't fit the surfboard. There is a zippered pocket on the underside and the stitching is completely through the top preventing a surfboard from fully inserting?

Wanted to take pictures but forgot before leaving the lift. Anyone else noticed either of these?

We were going over similar to wakeboard rope. Will try it under next time out.

Are you able to store two boards within pocket on top of the Bimini?

We go with rope underneath as well. Able to use both surf pockets too.

We are able to use both pockets for surf boards. I actually like to use the hand holds on each side of the tower when surfing with the bimini up. It also puts the rider on side of the boat they surf a little easier.

I've seen ragboy do this back in the day as well. Interested in trying it. Do you have a picture of the setup or can you point me in the right direction of how you secured it. I want something protective so it doesn't rub and pull paint from tower.

I take two short sections of ski rope and put one on each side in the hand loops. I loop the rope through itself. I attach the surf rope to the extension on the side we are surfing with a climbing caribener. This allows the rider to throw the rope onto the side they are not surfing. When you pick them up nobody has to throw them the rope. It is already on the side of the boat. It's great for days when you only have two people. I just use the Bimini poles to hold the short section up when not in use.

I'll try to get pictures tonight when we go out.

Both have a bend in them from the factory. It gives the Bimini a downward angle. I think that the angle makes it look funny.
