So we took the boat out for the first time this season on July 4 weekend. While towing the boat home I start to notice the cover coming off the gunnels of the boat. I pull over to pull it back down, and walk up to a shredded cover from the windshield to the transom. New covers are $1600 plus shipping!!! Anyone know of an alternative cover company that could be cheaper? I really liked the factory cover, but if I'm only going to get 2 years out of it I'd like to go cheaper. I tried asking Tige for help since the did have a manufacturer defect that caused the cover to rip during the first 3 weeks we owned the boat. The area was simply patched by our dealer. IMO I should have got a new cover at the first sign of failure, not a patch job from a third party. But, I tried and was told I needed to purchase a new one.

I purchased a commercial sewing/under armor replacement cover this year, so far its been great, fits better than the oem and was very reasonable cost wise. I've also heard great things from evolution covers as well.Comment

Evolution Covers will only charge you around $1000 for a new cover. They are very very good quality!Comment
