Do not use magic eraser!!! It is just that - an eraser. It is a nano technology sand paper to put it the most simply I can. It is actually removing material when you use it. Bad bad bad for your vinyl.

X2 DO NOT USE Magic Eraser. Try Malco Leather and Vinyl Cleaner. I have used this for the worst jobs and it has worked. In concentrate form it is strong so plan on cleaning the whole seat. light mist spray to the seat area and then use a soft brush to brush it in (small circular motion). After a few minutes then wipe clean. follow with a conditioner.

Again, be careful when using in concentrate. I recently used to clean a filthy dash on a 97 wrangler and it took the paint off. However, when I first got my boat the white seats were gray. I used concentrate and a brush and they quickly became white again. Be sure to not get any drops on other parts of vinyl and forget to wipe clean as it will leave a permanent mark. You can then dilute 1:10 and use daily.

You guys are probably going to laugh at this....Bass Pro Shops Vinyl Cleaner and a white soft bristle brush. I have no idea who Bass Pro has worked with or who's product is actually in the bottle but wow, that stuff took off crap on my seats that I didn't even know was there. The soft bristle brush gets deep into the little places on the vinyl and cleans it very well. I love vinyl sauce and all the other babes, Hula, ect products but this cheapo bottle of BPS cleaner is awesome!

X3 on the magic eraser, used it on my leather seat in my old truck 6 months later the seat slip right where I was cleaning with eraser. Fine for clothes and military guys know for taking scuffs off your boots and low quarters the eraser is the best. Boat seats..no go

x4 on Magic Eraser.....it's only used if you hate your boat and like to replace vinyl.

What Captainkurk72 said. Malco or you can find Totally Awesome Leather and Vinyl cleaner at Dollartree's. It's a Malco knock off. Follow up with your choice of protectant like 303.

magic eraser is like 5000 grit sand paper... so cease that.

Here are your legit steps to cleaning.
                  1. Clean Water
                  2. Clean Water with a touch of dawn. if step 1 failed
                  3. Malco if the other two dont work. if steps 1 and 2 did not get it out.
                  4. 303 aerospace conditioner - given the malco just stripped your UV protection down to null.

What not to USE.... simple green, any petroleum based product, as well as 409!

Let the sun be your friend as well. most spots will sun fade out. take the boat out a few times if not 100% gone.

Yes sun does work good. My daughter had a temp tattoo that left imprints all around the vinyl. I didn't catch it until i noticed little yellow half moons all over the interior I even tried Malco but didn't completely remove them. After a few hot days and no Bimini they were gone.
