    2007 Tige 22ve

    Hi folks,

been lingering here for a while now. After months of research, we just put a down payment on a new 2007 22Ve at the boat show in FLA. 54K sound ok for 22Ve with 340 hp, billet tower, premium sound, ss rub rail, docking lights, extended bimini, bow filler cushion, fiber platform, cover, and trailer? Anyway, I put a deposit down prior to test driving one, which should happen today. It was pretty much between this boat and a VLX with a diamond hull. We decided (tentatively) on this one. It is supposed to go in to spray this week, and they quoted me 3-4 weeks for delvery. That seems awfully fast as Malibu quoted 3-4 months. Have I been had? Am I not going to see my boat until mid November???

That's how long it took me to get mine, last year. I know there are others on here that took quite a bit longer, as Tige was moving to a different facility

We have waited for 2 Tige's to be built. Both took 3 months, but it was in the spring. I would say 5-7 weeks may not be out of the question for this time of year. Just take what the dealer said and add at least a month.

      The price sounds fair.

Congratulations on the boat, post pics when you get it!!!

Thanks for the quick reply. It was actually the manufacturer's rep that told me 3-4 weeks. I guess it was one that was already on order for a dealer or something but still hadn't gone to into spray. Who knows, ...we shall see.

That price is about what I would have had to give for a floor model with many of the same options on a end-of-model-year-close-out deal, so it's probably a fair price.

3-4 weeks is pretty aggressive. I do know they had supply issues earlier in the year right after they'd opened their new facility. Hopefully demand is less this time of year and they got their manufacturing kinks worked out.

Hopefully they got a new supply of gas gauges. My friend had his Tige delivered with no gas gauge, and the worst part the guy responsible for quality control checked off that it worked. Nice Tige, way to go!!

Our 2005 was built and delivered in about 3 weeks. We ordered it in mid-August of 2004, Delivered the first week of September.

So I think your time estimate could be pretty close, as mine was built in the old facility.

How does the table look in the boat? My concern is that the back row of seats turns into three cushions if you get the table. Does it still look/function good?

I have the table in the back of my 06 24ve and it look fine.
We use it all the time.
I think in the 07 its just a small insert and not a full cushion.

The table looks to be moved to the floor.

That to bad, now it will be just another cavity you will have to clean sand out of.

Speaking of cleaning the floor, has anyone had floor drains installed???
