wonder how that would affect backpressure. if reversing does the exhaust port still contain a flapper to keep water from getting pushed up the exhaust? could be a retrofit pretty easily with a few thru-bolts instead of welded on design. FAE could have some competition....2012 22ve.. RIP 4/17
2014 Z3.. Surf away

I would actually think that it should be lower in the water, below the tab. With it being on top of the tab, wouldn't the exhaust still surface quickly? Maybe I am missing something.
I do like the concept, cleaner looking than FAE, but for CO reduction I have to believe FAE will function better"I think I am pretty smart for an idiot"

I can see the entire top of my trim tab while surfing so that wouldn't force any of the exhaust in to the water it would just be on the surface of the water? I cant see how this would be any better than the normal exhaust opening or extremely marginal at best once the boat is moving? If the openings where all in the back bottom edge of that thing at least the exhaust would be pushed down in to the water.

Maybe I'm taking the original post too literally. When I read "scrubber" I interpreted that to mean it is chemically converting the CO into something else.

Frankly, this just looks like an expensive HVAC vent. I hope I'm wrong and there's some really cool magic in there. I'd love to hear more.
