98 pre 2100wt gas smell from exhaust/no power out of hole

98 350 mag mpi getting really stron gas smell out of exhaust when idling and enginge rough when i take off or slow down feels like lacking some power that should be there. runs good mid to high range but i fell something isnt quite right. any ideas on what to check or where to startmy process of elimination.

Had those same symptoms first time out this year. Ended up being a stuck injector. Found it running on a fake a lake and pulling each injector lead off one at a time. Could be a bad plug or wire as well. Test the same way. Cleaned the injector and all is well.
