Does anyone have any tips on our to get the fuel pump out of a 2002 2300V Merc? Its down in the hull in a plastic box but we can't get the side cover off without breaking it it seems. Any tips?

You have to remove the 2 bolts at the top of the box, then it will move. Be careful with all of the other tubes, you may have to remove the water tube and some of the fuel tubes.

I can't access the top of the box, only the side and it looks like its held in there with two tabs, I found on another topic to take the exhaust manifold off to access it easier as well. thanks for the help.Comment
