Here is my thread I posted last year with my flags. It's really an easy installation, I simply purchased the mounts online for $20/mount. They're just cheap cast aluminum type flag holders but so far they've handled 40mph with a 1" wooden dowel + flag for a whole year! Now you'll have to drill and tap into the top of your tower but with some careful measurements it's pretty easy. I can take some close up shots of my installation if you want.

I've been looking at a way to do this as well. Really more for sitting in the cove. I just don't see a good way to mount a large flag high up over the tower without drilling.
That pic is exactly what I am looking for--but want to figure out how to make it quick release--either with Velcro or a hinge...or like an oil filter remover--something that easily clamps on and off. I would like to be able to easily remove the flag holder when I pull waterskiers or tubes...and I'd also like to figure our how to tilt the flag at the 10 degree presentation angle. Something that clamps onto the tow pylon or tower that can be remoe
It looks like that flag mount clamps on with screws... I would think you could replace the regular screws with some sort of thumb screws, and it wouldn't be hard to move around at all.. Just loosen one screw and it should lift right off. For your 10* angle, maybe swing by a machine shop and have them bend you a piece of aluminum
