    Tige R21 360 vs 400?

Dealer got back with me on an R21 quote...they included the 400 in the quote which is a pretty large jump in price. Is the 360 sufficient or is the 400 really worth the extra coin? Elevation wise this boat will primarily be used in Ohio and the occasional summer trip to Tennessee/Missouri/Kentucky so no real elevation issues...

I was next to an R21 few weeks back that was fully ballasted and my Z3 400 was empty and we both took off same time and the R21 stayed with me. Only a one time hole shot and I had a 3-4ppl on board while R21 only had the driver on board. But again it was fully ballasted and mine was empty. I was impressed to say the least. Power to weight I think the 360 is more then ample.

The R21 has a solid surf wave also. I couldn't believe how clean, deep, and long the wave was! Go and test it if available and get your own opinion though as this is just my

Anybody know the jump in price between the two? I went to check seedealercost.com and they don't have the R-series on there yet....

its about 1,900 bucks at MSRP off the top of my head.

I think that the 360R is plenty of motor, as long as your not out in say Utah you do get 5 years from INDMAR vs 3 years as far as mfr warranty.

edit: 1,926 at MSRP and the difference between cost vs MSRP on the raptor upgrade isn't not very much.

It is litterally a Z1...just a little more friendly on the wallet.

$65k w/ trailer, bigger motor, Surf-XL, Taps 3, tower pre-wired, swivel racks, dual battery/depth finder, cover seem like a fair price?

Yes as in that's a fair price or "yes" as in that's a great price?

I don't know your market well enough to determine a great price. That you have to determine for yourself, but based on the info off Tige's site, that seems like a pretty decent deal.

Below is a link to standards/options and based upon this, it looks like you are getting a motor upgrade, ballast upgrade, tower pre-wire, racks...all extra for just 2K since tiges base price is shown as "NICELY EQUIPPED AT $63K USD" and I don't believe that included the trailer. Again, the motor upgrade alone is around the extra 2K MSRP and you are getting all the additional upgrades as well.

Remember, a good deal is good for both parties. A great deal may only be good for you and if they offer too many of those they may not continue to be a Tige dealer if they don't see it as profitable. Support your local dealer, allow them to make some profits and in turn, hopefully they will provide you (the loyal buyer) excellent service after the sale. Now, if the dealer is known to be a turn, take as much from them as you can.

Totally get a fair deal vs a steal...I don't want to steal from these guys at all as they have already treated me well...I'm just completely new to the "new" vehicle option (car or boat) and feel a bit out of my element...I just need a bit of an extra boost to be able to tell the wife I probably won't be able to snag something like this again...

My 17 z1 I'm gonna order is around 85k, so 65k is prolly about right

a little note the "63 k" on the website is no where even close to MSRP and has some pretty thin margins. 65 is a pretty good deal for you, especially with the Raptor, dual batteries and the racks.

I think you are getting a real honest great deal.
Like a Dandy said, the dealer will not be around long if they give out great deals to everyone especially in the Ohio area.
My 2016 Z1 loaded was close to 80,000 before tax
Obviously, Z1 has Raptor 400, Tige Touch 2, Alpha tower, and I have AVX.
