I was browsing around Wakeboarding Magazines website today and saw this by Mastercraft. Looks like a pretty cool feature. Would hate to see the cost associated with this and how cumbersome the steering linkage has to be with three rudders.

Well from reading the thread on WW there has been a lot of pissing and moaning about it already. personally, I don't need it but I can see where it would be very valuable to some and regardless it's innovation and keeps technology moving forward. I think it's a great idea.....again, I just don't need it so it wouldn't be something I'd add on the options list.

That's funny... Just this last Sunday I was explaining to one of my cobalt buddies that I was only gonna tie up to his port side and he didn't believe me when I tried to explain why

I think it's a cool Innovation but definitely not needed. I'm sure my wife would love it. Typically my wife does great with putting the boat on the trailer, I'd say about 90% of the time. But there is that 10% of the time, like two weeks ago when she freaked herself out and put the boat into the side of the dock before she reached the trailer. Permanent scratches and scuff marks on the brand new boat. Nothing that can't be fixed obviously with a little elbow grease and the right tools but frustrating all the same. Hopefully she never sees this... LOL.

Yeah my wife is the same way. Our ramp is super tight and a pain to get in and out. I usually do the docking, go get the trailer, then winch it on by hand. Lot less stressful for me and will probably save our marriage

I'd agree with a lot of those comments on WW, not something I would add as an option. Should be interesting to see if Mastercraft adds this to their price point boats.

That's a great way to do it for sure, marriage saver indeed. She asks me to do it this way all the time. On busy weekends I tell her no because I feel like a jerk clogging up a dock lane if someone was ready while I ran to get truck and trailer. Practice makes perfect.... I'm not sure she agrees :-)

I like the idea. I've always thought those tracking fins on the Tigé could be articulated. That could help too. I may be wrong but I thought Centurion did something like that.

Either way, I like that the competition in this industry is forcing innovation even if all of the knuckle draggers still long for the good old days.

I'm pretty surf somebody told me the bow thruster option on the 2016 MC x26 was like a $10k option.

Adding 2 rudders and some linkage has to be WAYYYYY cheaper that that.

10k?...lol wow that's more then both TAPS 3 and ballast on a new boat...at MSRP put together.

I bet this thing will have a pretty crazy price tag assosiated with it, because im pretty sure they do not move underway going forward.
